What Curation Means to Me

It is Important to talk about the KNOW, DO, and BE and my pledge to become a teacher.. I want to know what it takes to be a successful teacher once I graduate. I will do what it takes to ensure that all my students feel equal and enjoy the learning process. I want them to love school and be excited to come every single day. I will be the best role model for my students and provide support through all their experiences. I will always make myself available for them and spend extra time with them to make sure they understand a lesson. I will KNOW, DO, and BE everything that it takes to be a successful teacher and pass that on to my students. I will set goals for myself as well as for my class and encourage them to inquire about anything they want to learn more about. If they set their mind to something they can achieve it. I will emphasize that giving up is not an option and encourage GROWTH MINDSET. Always think positive and you will achieve your goals no matter if it seems unachievable.

This blog that I have taken the time to write about is about Curation. This is my curation project.

To Curate...
 What does it mean?

Today I am the Curator of my world and your instructor of this blog which is dedicated to my likes and interests.

~Sit Back, Relax and Enjoy! The ride I am about to take you on is about to begin~

Keep in Mind that this is a very personal blog. I have decided to give you a preview into my life and give you descriptions on things that are very important to me. So please refrain from negative comments because this is meant to be a positive space for people to view my personal journey.

I am in Teachers College and was asked to put together items to curate. I have presented these items in class already to my classmates but I have decided to create a blog to share with everyone in order to go more in depth about the artifacts I chose. I will then talk about how these artifacts relate to the four levels of reflection that I have learned in class related to being an effective educator.

The Four levels of reflections are:
1)SURFACE
2)PEDAGOGICAL
3)CRITICAL
4)SELF-REFLECTION
